I was on BBC Radio 4!

Discussing the importance of pronouns to gender identity with Gray Crosbie, Lawrence Chaney and Victor Lockhart!

The BBC says about the show:

Our panel represent a diverse range of gender identities including trans men and women and non- binary. For all them being addressed with the correct pronoun, be it he, she or they is a basic demonstration of respect and acceptance. So how do they handle it when people get it wrong; is it worse when someone deliberately misgenders them as an attack or when it happens accidentally in day-to-day life?
— BBC

The BBC has been pretty awful for trans people, pushing out lots of misleading and often totally false anti-trans talking points, but they were alright on this. I guess. I think the show topic was actually watered down from the original, but I dunno how much of that I’m supposed to say! Everyone I interacted with there from the staff to the producers to the other guests were amazing and very supportive!
